The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi excercises the territorial jurisdiction over the following countries: India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.

For example holder of Schengen Visa may enter the Czech Republic only if the visa is issued by the Czech Republic after 11 May 2020.
WHO CAN APPLY
Only citizens (or foreign nationals with residence permit) of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka intending to travel to the Czech Republic, can apply for visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.
The State of Emergency is imposed in the Czech Republic from 5 October 2020 for 30 days and it is not possible at this moment to apply for visa for tourism purpose. The application for Schengen Visa can be accepted only from the following categories of people:
HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Kindly send email to info.shortterm_delhi@mzv.cz with the request to get an appointment to submit visa application. In the email kindly indicate first name, last name, date of birth, passport number, to which one of the nine above categories from 1 to 9 you belong to, reason for travelling, duration of traveling and if you prefer to apply for visa at the Embassy (50-M Niti Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi) or at some particular visa centre. The Embassy is not authorized to accept visa application without prior appointment so wait for the approval of appointment.
HOW TO GET VISA INFORMATION
You can get visa information by phone. The visa infoline is available at number +91 11 2415 5265 every working day (excluding Czech and Indian holidays) from 2 p.m. till 3 p.m. Indian time and is dedicated for answering general questions regarding the visa process. Questions regarding the current status of particular visa applications can not be provided by phone due to the GDPR.
You can also get visa information by e-mail. If your intended stay in the Czech Republic is less than 90 days kindly send email to info.shortterm_delhi@mzv.cz.
Applications for a short-term (Schengen) visa up to 90 days can be submitted at most 3 months (but no later than 15 calendar days) prior the departure date.
PROCESSING TIME
The standard processing time is up to 15 calendar days. In particular cases only, the processing time may be prolonged up to 45 calendar days. The processing time starts when the visa application reaches the Embassy. It is recommended to schedule an appointment at least 45 days prior the travel.
VISA WAIVER FOR DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT HOLDERS
Holders of Diplomatic Passport issued by India are exempted from Schengen Visa up to 90 days in order to enter the Czech Republic according to bilateral agreement. However, from 5 October 2020 they can travel to the Czech Republic only for 14 days at maximum and only for official/business purpose.

HOW TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
The Embassy is not authorized to accept visa application without prior appointment so wait for the approval of appointment.
Personal presence for submission of visa application is required at the Embassy of the Czech Republic, 50-M Niti Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi - 110021.
Applicants have to submit the application on the completed form along with all the necessary requirements. Applicants shall submit originals or authorized copies of the documents. Documents proving the purpose of the stay in the Czech Republic shall be submitted in original only (marriage certificate, birth certificate will be returned). All the documents submitted shall be submitted in the Czech language or provided with an officially attested translation. Moreover, all foreign public instruments have to be authorized by a higher verification (Apostille, Superlegalisation). The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi provides attestation of translation and superlegalisation. Consular and visa fees are accepted in cash in Indian Rupees only.
Applicants for Schengen visas and long-term visas for purposes of economic and education activities are required to submit document on fulfilling requirements against introduction of infectious disease. Details here:
