Partial resumption of visa agenda at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi - Students

The Embassy of the Czech Republic has started accepting visa applications for long-term visas and long-term residence permits for the purpose of study in accredited study programs at Czech universities in the academic year 2021/2022

(pursuant to § 64 para. a) of Act No. 326/1999 Coll., on the Residence of Aliens in the territory of the Czech Republic and on the amendment of certain acts as amended ( study in accredited study programs at a university for the academic / school year 2021/2022).

The list of accredited study programs can be found here: https://regvssp.msmt.cz/registrvssp/csplist.aspx

Students who indent to study preparatory courses at the Czech universities instead of accredited study programs are still not eligible to apply for visas.

The Embassy of the Czech Republic will contact all registered eligible applicants and provide them with appointments in upcoming days. Students do not need to contact the Embassy by themselves.

India is still listed by the Protective Measure of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic as a country with an extreme risk of COVID-19. Therefore, the visa processing at the Embassy of the Czech Republic remains strictly limited. The visa applications for any other purpose than the above mentioned study in accredited programs cannot be accepted.
