The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic together with Czech Development Aid approved one small local development project in Bangladesh in 2023. The project organized by a Bangladeshi based CSO Prova Society will aim to enhance livelihoods and self-reliance among Rohingya refugees and host communities at Cox´s Bazar. The total amount of the support of the Czech government will be 500 000 CZK.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi has collected over 59 applications from Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. Only 28 applications have met the conditions of the call for proposal of small scale projects for 2023 and were further assessed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic and Czech Development Aid.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi would like to thank all applicants who have submitted their proposals. The information about the call for proposals for small scale projects for 2024 will be published in September 2023 on the website of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi.
