Only applicants for long-term visas a residence permits can apply for the appointment date via this booking system (except employee cards).

The booking system will open every first Monday in a month from 11 - 17 h of Indian time. If this date falls on a Czech national holiday, the booking system will open on the day following the national holiday. Maximum of 50 appointments will be available within each slot. Out of total of 50 applications, it will be possible to apply at least for 20 long-term visas/long-term residence permits for family reunification and Erasmus programs study, and not more than 5 long-term visas for seasonal employment.

The applicants shall schedule an appointment via the following e-mail address: newdelhi.visa@mzv.gov.cz. The e-mails delivered before/after the above-mentioned time slot will be discarded. Therefore, we recommend to send the emails in the beginning of the time slot, not towards its ending.

The subject of the e-mail requesting an appointment has to contain ONLY the applicant´s passport number (if applicable, the letters of the passport number has to be written IN CAPITALS).

Please be aware that if the option to reply is disabled by the sender, the email with an appointment request will be automatically discarded.

Each applicant is allowed to send ONLY ONE (1) e-mail. Children up to the age of 18 years do not need to apply separately, if submitting their application together with their parent/legal guardian or applying for the purpose of reunification with them (e.g. the email has to contain information regarding both parent and children).

E-mails which will not contain only the passport number in the subject will not be considered as valid and will not be answered and processed. Applicants who will send more than 1 e-mail (in case of duplicity of his/her passport number in the subjects of the e-mails), will be excluded. The applicant will be informed about the same in 1 e-mail, which will be sent as a reply to his/her first duplicate e-mail.

The email must contain the following identification information about the applicant (attachment max 10 MB):

  1. first name and surname
  2. date of birth
  3. passport number
  4. purpose of travel - (e.g. study, family reunification, culture, seasonal work - work permit)
  5. e-mail
  6. attachment: scan of the passport data page (in the .pdf format)
  7. attachment: scan of the document proving the travel purpose (e.g. blue card - complete and signed employment contract, study purpose - acceptance letter of the university, family reunification - marriage certificate, birth certificate in the .pdf format)

The appointment dates are final and unchangeable and they will be provided immediately. Therefore, applicants should have all documents for long-term visa/residence permit application prepared when applying for an appointment. List of required documents may be found here. Cancelled appointments cannot be replaced by other applicants. If the applicant cancels his/her appointment, a new appointment must be arranged via e-mail under the described procedure.

Electronic registration includes a random element: the appointments will be allocated randomly from the pool of successful registrations. The appointment date will be sent via e-mail to the applicant's contact email address.

To ensure functionality of the system for all applicants, attempts to use software tools to send registrations in bulk may be evaluated as spam by the antispam security of the mzv.gov.cz domain. As a result, such registrations will be disregarded.
